Lewis Washington and Chen Gonzalez are 2 minority high school students attending a charter school in New York City. As a change in the schools policies comes into effect and a standardized test threatens to classify them, the two must decide between fitting into a system that may define their future, or a friendship that has been pushed to the limit.
